Jerry’s at Jalan Kayu
Jerry’s was established in 1994. It is an American BBQ, and ribs restaurant ( the American South’s style of a smokehouse, where the ribs, the pork shoulders and the chicken are smoked Memphis style) plus an American grill, featuring juicy tender aged steaks supplied by the best butchery in Singapore, famous for hot to very hot buffalo wings, deep fried mushrooms, fish grills and lots of other American dishes (see MENU on this website)
Location: at 277 Jalan Kayu, near the stretch of Roti Prata late-night eateries. Jerry’s is open every day from 12 noon to 11:30 p.m. (Last serving of food is 10:30 p.m. on weekdays and 11:00 p.m. on weekends.)
By car, it is best to come from Yiu Chu Kang road or from the CTE/SLE (exiting at Yiu Ch Kang/Jalan Kayu). The nearest MRT station is Yiu Chu Kang. Those in Sengkang or Ponggol can come b y LRT to the Thanggam station, which is just a block away from Jerry’s. There is a coupon car park located close by and a long stretch of free parking along Jalan Kayu and its side streets.

Jerry’s is a Neighborhood restaurant or a city restaurant- it is a bit of both.
Jerry’s is ever popular (for it can be fully packed on the weekend, sometimes even on a weekday). The clients come from all the neighborhoods of the Northern part of Singapore, but sometimes they drive there all the way from the south as well. Jerry’s customers are diverse—businessmen and technology people from the industrial areas of Ang Mo Kio or the Seleter airbase. The main customers are family people, yuppie couples and singles. Literally you can find almost anybody at Jerry’s. They come as they are without any pretensions. The place is casual and a bit laid back. All that adds to the ambiance.
Jerry’s Main Secret for packing the crowd is 14 years of dependably good food: delicious, well-seasoned, large American size portions, made with high quality ingredients. Everything is homemade and cooked to order. Our spice rubs and secret recipe BBQ sauces are homemade. The meats are specially aged, chilled, (not frozen) and come from the USA, Australia, or New Zealand.

Table for Three TV show featured our especially delicately flavored Lamb Grill and our crispy Dory Fish and Chips.
The Food Chain TV show featured the making of our smoked BBQ pork, beef, and ribs on TV, calling Li-Wen, the proprietress of Jerry’s, a “BBQ Queen”.
Makansutra twice featured our signature dish, our fragrant crispy chicken wings and our Buffalo wings with three degrees of hotness.
Jalan kayu outlet has a capacity of about 120 persons. It has a very pleasant rain proof alfresco alleyway and a very airplane decorated basement The two sections, plus the main bar dining section of the restaurant are all very popular and make for ideal gathering places for parties, birthdays, company or private functions.
